Description

Learn about the history and landmarks of Miyajima island. Discover various aspects of this beautiful island, from beautiful shrines, local specialty food to spiritual mountain.

In the morning you will take a short train and ferry ride to Miyajima and spend a few hours exploring the scenic island. The most famous landmark is the beautiful Itsukushima Shrine, whose main torii gate stands on the edge of the Seto Inland Sea and appears to float during high tide. After spending some time here your guide will accompany you back to your hotel and end the tour.
