The Setouchi Shimanami Kaido is a sea road that weaves together beautiful islands and bridges that connect them. You can fully enjoy the scenery of the islands floating in the Seto Inland Sea on the 60km road that connects Onomichi City in Hiroshima Prefecture and Imabari City in Ehime Prefecture. "Cycling Road" is famous as the first bicycle road in Japan that crosses the strait.
If you like cycling, please try cycling. The Shimanami Kaido is famous as a sacred place for cyclists. The bridge that connects the islands has a highway for cars, as well as a path for pedestrians and bicycles. There are many "rental cycle terminals" along the road, so you can enjoy cycling comfortably.
We also recommend relaxing on a cruise or playing with cute dolphins at Dolphin Farm Shimanami.

In the morning meet your guide and take a short train and ferry ride to Miyajima and spend a full day exploring the scenic island.
Along with Matsushima in Miyagi and Amanohashidate in Kyoto, Miyajima is one of Japan's three most scenic spots. It is very popular as a day trip spot easily accessible by train and ferry from Hiroshima, and oysters and momiji manju are local specialties.
The most famous landmark is the beautiful Itsukushima Shrine, whose main torii gate stands on the edge of the Seto Inland Sea and appears to float during high tide.
After lunch, enjoy hiking to the top of Miyama mountain. You can also choose to take ropeway to the top if hiking is too much.
Spend some time there and your guide will accompany you back to your hotel.
