Itineraries

Day 1

Arrival Osaka (KIX)

Arrive at Kansai International Airport and transfer to Osaka castle and Osaka castle park city in Osaka city by private vehicle. Check into the hotel and enjoy rest of the day at leisure. (-/-/-)

Day 2

Tour in Osaka

In the morning, meet your English speaking guide and start from the Osaka Castle. After visiting the Osaka Castle, transfer by train to south and explore Shin Sekai and Abeno Harukas. Finish the day tour at Dotonbori and Namba which is in the center of Osaka and back to the hotel. (-/-/-)

Day 3

Tour in Nara

Today, enjoy self-guided day trip to Nara. Begin with Todaiji temple, it was built in 752. Later visit an important Shinto shrine, Kasuga Shrine. There are thousands of torii donated by devotees to the shrine. Back to Osaka, enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. (-/-/-)

Day 4

Tour in Hiroshima

This morning, take Shinkansen bound for Hiroshima. Arriving at Hirosima, be met by your guide at hotel and visit Peace Park which is in the center of Hiroshima, and the Atomic Bomb Dome in the park as well. After visiting there, enjoy the rest of the day in the city. If you prefer, you can make a stop at Himeji and see the world heritage Himeji Castle, before heading to Hiroshima. (-/-/-)

Day 5

Tour in Miyajima (Hiroshima)

Today, visit Miyajima on own, a small island to Hiroshima's southwest. After a fifteen minute ferry ride, stop at the great landmark and one of the best views in Japan: the red torii gate of Itsuki Shrine. Afterward, take a ride up the Miyajima Ropeway to see a great view of the ocean and town. Transfer back to the city and free at leisure. (-/-/-)

Day 6

Tour in Kyoto

After checking out the hotel, transfer to Kyoto by Shinkansen. Upon arrival at Kyoto, meet your English speaking guide and explore Kyoto. Begin at Nishiki Market, it is a fine place to buy fresh food and unique Kyoto foods. Next head to Gion, is known traditional Japanese house lined streets and visit Kiyomizu temple. Enjoy Japanese tea ceremony at the end of the tour. Check into the hotel. (-/-/-)

Day 7

Tour in Kyoto

In this morning, meet your guide and start the tour. Take part in a Zen Meditation class at a local temple. After the class, visit Kinkakuji temple and Nijo castle. Back to the hotel, enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.c (-/-/-)

Day 8

Tour in Kyoto

This morning, enjoy Japanese food cooking class with English speaking local Japanese instructors. For lunch, eat bento lunch which you just cooked. Make your way to Fushimi Inari, where there are the thousands of torii gates that line its mountain paths. After the tour, back to the hotel and free at leisure. (-/L/-)

Day 9

Tour in Kyoto

Free at leisure today. Visit Arashiyama bamboo forest and beautiful Japanese garden Okochi Sanso. Explore further to Arashiyama Monkey Park or Sagano Romantic Train. (-/-/-)

Day 10

Tour in Kanazawa

After checking out the hotel, transfer to Kanazawa by private vehicle. Meet your guide at shinkansen gate upon arrival at Kanazawa. Tour starts at Nagamachi, where once served as a residential area for many Samurai families. Later visit Myoryuji temple, Ninjadera, then check into the hotel.(-/-/-)

Day 11

Tour in Kanazawa

Today, take a self-guided tour of Kanazawa. Visit Kenrokuen garden, which is consider to be one of the top three gardens in Japan. Walk short distance to Kanazawa Castle Park. Finish the day tour at Higashichaya, once an entertainment area filled with teahouses and geisha to entertain the wealthy. After the tour, back to the hotel and free at leisure. (-/-/-)

Day 12

Tour in Shirakawago & Takayama

Take bus (seats reserved) to Shirakawago in the morning. Meet guide there and explore the world heritage village till around noon time. Shirakawago comprises several villages, Ogimachi contains the largest number of these traditional homes. Transfer further south with your guide to Takayama, a historical town in Japan Alps. Walk sannachi street and enjoy street foods and local sake. Check into Ryokan (Japanese style inn) and have dinner there (-/-/D).

Day 13

Half day self-guided tour in Takayama and transfer to Hakone

Explore on own at Miyagawa Morning Market. Later, check out Ryokan and transfer to Hakone by rapid tran to Nagoya then by Shinkansen. On your way by Shinkansen, you will see Mt. Fuji, the most famous natural landmark in Japan. Upon arrival at Odawara station, change trains and use your Hakone Free Pass to get to Hakone Yumoto station. Your hotel is less than 10 min walk from the station. Check-in at ryokan and enjoy Onsen and dinner (-/-/D)

Day 14

Tour in Hakone and transfer to Tokyo

Meet your guide in hotel, Using the Hakone freepass explore around Hakone, good change to see spectacular views of Mt. Fuji from the ropeway - Hakone shrine - Lake Ashi cruise - Hakone ropeway - Open air museum By 1700 return to Odawara station and the guide will help you board the train for Tokyo Upon arrival in Tokyo, make your own way to your hotel next to the station

Day 15

Tour in Tokyo

Meet your English speaking guide at the lobby. Begin with Asakusa Kannon temple, stroll through Nakamise street, on the way into the temple. later head to the Sumida river and take a ferry bound for the Hamarikyu Garden, located on the edge of Tokyo Bay. After the garden, visit the Edo-Tokyo Museum. Back to the hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. (-/-/-)

Day 16

Tour in Tokyo

In the morning, meet your English speaking guide and take half day tour of Harajuku and Shibuya area. Visit Meiji shrine and the Yoyogi Park. At Takehashi street, you can find modern Japanese cultures abounds, Omote Sando also is lined with all kinds of shops and cafes. Finally see the famous Shibuya Crossing. Rest of the day at leisure. Tour in Tokyo

Free at leisure today. Enjoy the last day in Japan.

Departure (NRT)
